Silver ore is dumped from railcars into a large grizzly separator

Silver ore is dumped from railcars into a large grizzly which separates the larger rocks. The smaller mixture rides a conveyor belt to the ball mill for further crushing. Larger chunks of ore are broken with a sledge hammer.
