The Denver City and County Building was built in 1932 by a coalition of 39 local architects and houses the offices of the mayor and department of law, the meeting chambers of the city council, and courtrooms for county and district courts. Each year, the building is festooned with over 5 miles of electrical cable and over 20,000 lights during the Christmas holiday.
